Restoring Connection With Life & Thriving
Hi There! Thank you for your interest in working with me.
Through the years I've had the rewarding experience of helping people with relationship, career, performance and life transition challenges, as well as address anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and more! This happens during individual and couples work.
I've had the privilege of facilitating clients shift from:
People are different; no one model works for everyone. In order to be most effective, I've found it invaluable to be trained in several different research-based healing modalities. My approach is integrative, grateful to have my work informed by this rich and varied repertoire of study: Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP); Attachment Theory, Research & Application; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Coherence Therapy (CT); Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT); Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapy; Guided Imagery; Mindfulness; Neurobiological Research & Application; Nonviolent Communication; Parts Work; Schema Therapy; Self Psychology; Somatic Experiencing (SE); Stephen Porges' Polyvagal Theory. Everything I offer I've personally experienced and benefit from. And I continue to study, committed to offering whatever can be most helpful to people.
Through The Focusing Institute I've had the privilege of teaching: "Introduction to Focusing", "Expanding Your Focusing Experience", "Focusing As An Underpinning for EMDR", "Introduction to Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapy". And for the last several years I've been immersed in developing and teaching the empowering integrative approach "Restoring Connection With Life & Thriving".
My years of professional and life experience further inform my work, including my first career as a high school teacher, an M.A. in Communications from Northwestern University, corporate sales, living abroad as well as U.S. big city and small town living, having been a successful photographer and helping professional. And probably most importantly, the experiences of: being single as well as married, parenting and spiritual connection, influence my work.
OK, so I'm extremely well-trained and have years of experience. This is all fine and good, but we need to first talk and then if it feels right to do so, make an appointment. If something here has resonated for you, by all means contact me about the possibility of working together. I welcome hearing from you. Let the conversation begin.

I've had the privilege of facilitating clients shift from:
- feeling estranged, to being loving again
- avoiding difficulty, to meeting what life brings
- being overly accommodating, to speaking up for one self
- avoiding certain conversations, to successfully talking about the hard stuff
- staying in destructive relationships, to having the strength to leave when wise to do so
- being preoccupied with the past or worrying about the future, to enjoying living more fully in the present
- And much more ....
