Restoring Connection With Life & Thriving
Events
New York, NY
"Focusing" is one of the life-enhancing experiential processes in which I'm trained and have the pleasure of teaching. "New York Metro Focusing" is a wonderful organization that has invited me to facilitate a Focusing-oriented group exploration on Sunday 9/22. It would be great to have you join us.
NEW YORK METRO FOCUSING NY Metro Focusing meetings offer an opportunity to engage in a felt sensing, interactive exploration of topics of interest. Our conversational process encourages slowing down, listening from a felt sensing place, and letting what we hear resonate within to bring something new and fresh, both within ourselves and within the group. You do not need to already know Focusing in order to have a full experience. Date: Sunday, September 22, 2013 Time: 4:30 - 7:15 p.m (Please arrive no later than 5 p.m. out of respect for the group process that will occur. The facilitated group process itself will take place from 5:00 - 6:30pm.) EXPLORING RESILIENCE & VULNERABILITY TOGETHER We'd be delighted to have you join us in co-creating an organic fluid experience of exploring resilience and vulnerability, one thing flowing from the other. Our process will include felt-sensing, resonant listening and the resulting carrying forward. We’ll expand and deepen our experiential understanding of resilience and vulnerability, while the process itself fosters our resilience. This evening’s facilitator: Elizabeth Lehmann is a process-oriented psychotherapist who practices in Manhattan and Warwick, NY. Through “The Focusing Institute” she’s had the privilege of teaching: "Introduction to Focusing", "Expanding Your Focusing Experience", "Focusing As An Underpinning for EMDR" and "Introduction to Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapy". Elizabeth is also the developer of “RESILIENT-YOU”, an audio program imbued with Focusing. Assisted by: Cynthia Callsen, founder of NY Metro Focusing (along with Larry Hurst and with the help of others). She is a practicing psychotherapist for more than 30 years and a Bach Flower Registered Practitioner. She has specialized in Focusing-oriented psychotherapy since 2007. Place: Moving Body Resources 112 W. 27th St., 4th Fl. (To enter building, use code 402 & press green bell key) The meeting room is a shoe-free zone. Socks & slippers, please.
